One of the first things that grabs your attention about the Apollo IE is its design. The vehicle possesses a very natural shape that is reportedly inspired by insects and marine creatures.
At its core is a Ferrari-derived 6.3-liter V12 engine that produces 780 hp @ 8500 rpm and 561 lb-ft of torque at 6000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed sequential manual gearbox that transmits power to the rear axle. Apollo asserts that the IE can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 208 mph.
Another aspect contributing to the overall experience of driving the Apollo IE is the noise. The naturally aspirated V12 is unrefined and noisy, something showgoers were able to directly witness.
