The initial released pictures of the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS have emerged online. Courtesy of these visuals posted by@liucunyi_starandcar, we are given an exclusive peek at the newest, most anticipated 911 model before its official debut.
The primary distinction between the 911 GT3 and the GT3 RS lies in the aero package. While the GT3 is well-equipped for racing, the GT3 RS elevates it to another level. The aggressive front design boasts wide intakes and dual NACA ducts, along with louvres on the front fenders and an additional guiding vane on the sides.
The rear of the vehicle exudes a sporty vibe as well. Featuring an intricate diffuser and a compact lip spoiler, the prominent highlight is the extensive rear wing. Notably, this time it functions actively, altering the angle of attack as required by the downforce.
The interior setup of the fresh 911 GT3 RS maintains a relatively standard appearance. Hosting a semi-digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system, Porsche has included additional rotary controls on the steering wheel for diverse drive modes and chassis adjustments, tailored for the ultimate track-focused model in the lineup.
Speculations hint at the likelihood of the new GT3 RS being driven by a 4.0-liter, flat-6 engine generating approximately 530-550 hp. However, the official confirmation is slated for August 17.
