Lamborghini is gearing up to unveil the off-road-focused Huracan Sterrato soon. We’ve already seen spy images and an official teaser of the car. Based on that information, we can hazard a guess as to what the car might look like.

Having said that, the concept of an off-road oriented mid-engined supercar isn’t new, as this Gallardo rallycross video proves. This is what a Lamborghini Gallardo Sterrato might have looked like if Sant’Agata had ever thought of putting one into production.

This “Gallardo Sterrato” has been racing in the European rally cross scene for quite a few years. As you can see, it’s essentially a jacked-up Gallardo equipped with rally-spec wheels and tires. The car is powered by a V10 engine similar to the road-going version. Although, the exact technical specs are unclear.

The upcoming Huracan Sterrato will also be powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 640 hp and an all-wheel drive system.
