Freshly released was our recent article detailing the completion and imminent delivery of the full dozen Bentley Mulliner Bacalar vehicles to their respective patrons. Now, Mulliner, the internal department specialized in bespoke design at Bentley, shifts its focus towards the subsequent custom creation. The prototype for this new vehicle, the Bentley Mulliner Batur, has already been crafted. Its grand reveal is scheduled to take place during the Monterey Car Week on Sunday, August 21 in California. While some may perceive the Batur as the Bacalar’s successor, this fresh model will introduce an entirely new design concept for Bentley, offering a glimpse of the forthcoming series of BEV (Battery Electric Vehicles).
In a nod to the Bacalar, the name Batur is inspired by the stunning natural reservoir, Lake Batur. Situated on the Indonesian island of Bali, Lake Batur boasts an impressive depth of 88 meters and covers an area of 16 square kilometers.
