An Extensive Examination of the Bugatti Mistral

Upon the grand debut of the Veyron by Bugatti in 2005, the world was also graced with the extraordinary W16 powerhouse flaunting four turbochargers. As the torch was passed to the Chiron, the engine endured, but with a commendable surge in power reaching 1,600 hp. While the awe-inspiring Veyron Grand Sport existed as a convertible sibling to the original Veyron, the legacy continued with the production of the Chiron.

Bugatti refrained from producing a full-fledged convertible variation. Albeit, there was an alternative offering of twin glass roof panels to infuse a lively ambiance inside the cockpit. However, it wasn’t until 2022 that another open-top Bugatti materialized… enter the epitome of roadsters – the Mistral. Limited to a mere 99 exemplars and commanding a price tag of €5 million, this masterpiece will serve as the swan song for the illustrious W16 engine prior to the advent of a forthcoming hybrid model.
