The latest addition from BMW is hailed as the “most unique special edition” to come from the distinguished M division – the 3.0 CSL.
This exclusive model, built upon the concept of the 3.0 CSL Hommage, draws its design cues from the original Coupe Sport Lightweight (CSL) of the 1970s, evident in the car’s captivating styling.
Adorned with a redesigned kidney grille at the front and a bumper flanked by round intake ducts, the 3.0 CSL flaunts wider fenders, extended door sills, and a striking rear profile featuring an integrated fixed spoiler.
Powering the 3.0 CSL is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine, meticulously tuned to deliver an impressive 553 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque – marking it as BMW’s most potent inline-6 engine to date. The model exclusively offers a 6-speed manual transmission, channelling power to the rear wheels through an M differential. Braking prowess is provided by standard carbon ceramic brakes.
Limited strictly to 50 units, the production of the BMW 3.0 CSL has created a buzz in automotive circles for its collectible value.
