Bugatti and RM Sotheby’s have released a sneak peek on their individual social media channels. The picture doesn’t disclose much except for the fact that a unique model will be auctioned just days before Christmas.
The brand-new one-off Bugatti is set to be unveiled on December 21, 2022, at what is expected to be an exclusive event. If you are curious about what Bugatti means by “automotive solitaire”, you have come to the right place.
According to credible sources, the unique model is actually derived from the Chiron Pur Sport. As you know, this is a Chiron variant focused on conquering corners. The fresh one-off is a more relaxed “Touring” style model and will showcase a ducktail spoiler instead. It’s akin to what the GT3 Touring is to the standard 911 GT3.
While the technical specifications of the car are still a mystery, it’s reasonable to anticipate that the Touring Pur Sport will be powered by the same 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine generating 1500 hp and 1180 lb-ft.
Furthermore, the new one-off model is likely to be the final iteration of the Chiron. It will be fascinating to witness the bidding action for this one.
