There were previous reports this year about a Koenigsegg Agera RS that was confiscated by Chinese authorities. The hypercar recently underwent auctioning and garnered a bid of approximately $2.6 million. However, it seems it did not manage to sell.
As per @koeniseggjesko.registry, the customs are no longer in possession of the car. The vehicle has been handed over to a dealership, assigned with the task of locating a buyer. The Agera RS has reportedly been transported to Xi’an.
This specific Agera RS is identified as chassis no. 7178. It is adorned with exposed carbon fibre bodywork featuring red accents. The interior showcases seats cloaked in black leather with red stitching. Furthermore, this Agera RS boasts a couple of distinctive elements – the word “ZHEN” embroidered on the headrests and a unique graphic on the car’s side.
Chinese customs had also seized a Koenigsegg Regera due to tax avoidance. Reports suggest it was auctioned off for $3.52 million.
