The Bugatti Chiron Profilée was envisioned as a unique variant positioned between the Chiron Sport and the Pur Sport models. However, due to the rapid sale of all 500 Chiron units well before the completion of its development, the project missed the opportunity to be mass-produced. It is now being showcased as a one-of-a-kind piece that will be up for auction on February 1, 2023.
By introducing the Chiron Profilée, Bugatti essentially concludes the Chiron’s legacy, representing the ultimate version of one of the most exceptional hypercars globally. With its subtle enhancements, the car exudes an aura of sophistication, and it won’t be surprising if it garners a substantial bidding price.
This unique variant boasts a custom exterior adorned in a dual-color palette. Notable for its elongated rear segment featuring an integrated ducktail spoiler, this design aspect stands out as the defining feature of the vehicle. Bugatti claims that the revised rear section enhances downforce and influences the aerodynamic airflow dynamics around the rear axle. The vehicle is also equipped with a distinctive set of wheels.
The Profilée goes beyond being just a reimagined Chiron. It showcases completely new steering and suspension configurations. Additionally, it debuts a bespoke transmission with altered gear ratios that facilitate blistering acceleration from 0-124 mph in a mere 5.5 seconds! The 0-60 mph sprint is achieved in 2.3 seconds, while hitting 186 mph takes a swift 12.4 seconds.
The Chiron Profilée is driven by the renowned 8.0-liter W16 powerplant. However, the engine now revs up to 6900 rpm, 200 rpm higher than the standard model, allowing the car to achieve a remarkable top speed of 236 mph.
