An exclusive Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series P One Edition is now on offer in Columbus, OH. This special vehicle is currently being showcased at Mercedes-Benz of Easton with pricing details kept confidential.
The P One Edition boasts a distinct two-tone paint design inspired by the Formula 1 racing livery, along with stylish teal accents both internally and externally. It was exclusively made available to customers who had placed orders for the AMG One hypercar. Only 275 units of this remarkable edition were produced, commanding a premium of approximately $60,000.
Mercedes had aimed to retain these customers due to delays in the AMG One project. The delivery of the hypercars was initially scheduled for 2018, but as it nears the end of 2022, production has only recently begun. It appears that the current owner of this Black Series model has reached a decision. However, it remains uncertain whether the build slot for their AMG One has also been sold.
The AMG GT Black Series P One Edition is equipped with the same 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine found in the standard model. Generating an impressive 720 hp @ 6700-6900 rpm and 590 lb-ft @ 2000-6000 rpm, this engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The showcased vehicle has accumulated just 260 miles on the odometer.
