The Ferrari Purosangue marks the Maranello-based supercar maker’s entry into the lucrative SUV segment. And, what better way to announce your arrival than an off-roader powered by a meaty V12.

The Purosangue is Ferrari’s first four-door, four-seater car. It features a distinct design with an eye-catching front fascia that incorporates a large grille and sleek LED headlamps. The rear of the car also borrows cues from the brand’s more recent models like the 296 GTB and the Roma. Also, like the Rolls Royce Cullinan, the Purosangue too gets suicide doors!

The Purosangue gets a sporty, driver-focused interior, but it’s luxurious at the same time. The instrument binnacle is a digital screen, and a flat-bottom steering wheel gets haptic switches. Another large screen has been provided on the passenger side.

Powering the Ferrari Purosangue is a 6.5-liter V12 engine. This naturally aspirated motor develops 725 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque @ 6250 rpm. It is hooked-up to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Ferrari claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. The car weighs just over 2 tonnes.
