The initial official teaser of the Ferrari Purosangue was unveiled earlier in March. There have been few updates regarding Maranello’s inaugural SUV since that time. It is anticipated that the car will be disclosed in the upcoming month, though Ferrari has not yet confirmed the exact date.
As per insider information, Ferrari is possibly aiming to introduce the Purosangue on September 13 during a gathering in Tuscany. The nature of this event, whether private or global, remains ambiguous. Nevertheless, we will promptly witness Ferrari’s inaugural production SUV. Furthermore, although it will not bear the moniker ‘Purosangue’, it is presumed to receive an appealing and succinct name.
Images that have been leaked of the vehicle showcase a design likely influenced by the brand’s supercar collection. The headlights seem to have taken cues from the SF90 Stradale, while the back end recalls the aesthetics of the Roma.
Beneath the hood, the Purosangue will be equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 powerplant creating an estimated 800 hp. Speculation hints that Ferrari might craft a limited series of V12 Purosangue SUVs, with future editions possibly integrating the V6 hybrid technology from the 296 GTB.
