Ferrari has released the first teaser of the upcoming Roma Spider. Maranello has also confirmed that the convertible version of the Roma will debut on March 16, 2023.
We’ve learned that the Roma Spider launch event will be held in Marrakesh, Morocco. Journalists will get to drive the car soon after.
The drop-top Roma is expected to be powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. In the coupe, this motor develops 611 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque and is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The Spider is likely to be slightly heavier than the coupe. However, that shouldn’t much of an issue as the Roma Spider is mor of a grand tourer than an outright performance car. Ferrari claims the coupe does 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 198 mph. So, the Spider’s performance figures should be in the same ballpark.
