Ferrari SF90 Versione Speciale Is Seen In Its Final Production Form

Ferrari is working on a track-focused version of its plug-in hybrid supercar, the SF90 Stradale. Dubbed the SF90 Versione Speciale, the new model is expected to debut later this year.

Now, a new image of the hottest SF90 has surfaced online. It was shared by FerrarChat member – Owen Edwards and showcases what appears to be the production-spec SF90 VS. It looks significantly different from the standard car.

Starting from the front, it has a redesigned front bumper with a more aggressive splitter element and an additional slot just under the headlamp cluster. It has more pronounced side skirts and a large fixed wing at the back. Another aero-related feature we hadn’t seen on previous test cars is the three vents on the front and rear fenders, which appear to be inspired by the F12 TDF.

The SF90 Versione Speciale is expected to get an upgraded version of Ferrari’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid. This unit produces 769 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque in the standard car. The internal combustion engine is assisted by two electric motors mounted at the front and one at the rear, adding another 217 hp for a combined output of 986 hp.
