The manufacturing of the Ford GT supercar will conclude later this year. In honor of the renowned model, the company has introduced a unique edition known as the Ford GT LM.
The Ford GT LM pays homage to the car’s victory at the 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours. It showcases a Liquid Silver exterior hue with blue highlights reminiscent of the no. 68 Ford GT that achieved top recognition in its category in 2016. Also, the front splitter, door sills, engine bay louvers, rear diffuser, and mirror stalks are customizable in either red or blue carbon.
Internally, the Ford GT LM is equipped with carbon bucket seats featuring Alcantara upholstery. The driver’s seat can be selected in either red or blue. Each vehicle boasts a unique ‘GT LM’ emblem reportedly crafted from the ground up crankshaft of the 2016 Ford GT Le Mans race car that secured third place.
Ford has not disclosed the pricing for the GT LM exclusive edition. Nonetheless, it is anticipated to exceed the base cost of $450,000. Only 20 units will be manufactured.
