Ford has fabricated what it claimed to be the ultimate track-exclusive supercar. It goes by the name Ford GT Mk IV, representing the conclusive form of the famous supercar.
The Ford GT Mk IV racing car for 2023 will be constructed by Multimatic. A mere 67 units will be crafted as a tribute to the original 1967 GT Mk IV race car.
The starting price for this race-exclusive supercar is $1.7 million. Nonetheless, individuals interested in purchasing one must complete an application form. Ford will make selections and confirm allocations in the first quarter of 2023.
Regarding the car itself, the 2023 Ford GT Mk IV features a twin-turbo EcoBoost engine producing an estimated 800 hp. It is matched with a racing gearbox. The exterior is crafted from carbon fiber with Multimatic’s Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) suspension system underneath.
In comparison to the street legal model, the Ford GT Mk IV has an extended wheelbase and an aerodynamically enhanced exterior that appears remarkably striking! It includes substantial air intakes on the sides and a prominent rear wing. Additionally, it is outfitted with Ford’s novel distinctive C-shaped LED headlights at the front. The aerodynamic wheel covers lend it a distinct ‘Hot Wheels’ appearance.
