Gordon Murray Automotive Might Unveil The Latest Variation Of GMA T.33 Next Month

In the previous year, Gordon Murray Automotive made public its plan to broaden its range with a fresh supercar model identified as the GMA T.33. The initial look at the car was in January 2022, and there has been minimal information since then.

One reason for the limited discussion of the T.33 is the company’s focus on finalizing the GMA T.50 hypercar. The latter has now been completed and recently entered production.

Following the completion of the T.50’s development phase, GMA might be redirecting its attention to the T.33 supercar. There are indications that Gordon Murray is likely to disclose a “fresh version” of the GMA T.33 next month.

Unlike the T.50, the T.33 is intended to be a comfortable grand tourer. It appears less radical without the large rear-mounted fan and features a more traditional driving position. With that being said, what could this so-called “new version” be? Since it’s a GT, it’s improbable that GMA would introduce an intense, track-focused variation. Another possibility is a convertible version of the T.33.

The probable use of the same Cosworth-built 3.9-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine should be noted. This engine produces 607 hp @ 10,500 rpm, with 90% of the peak torque (399 lb-ft) accessible from 4,500-10,500 rpm. It will be coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.
