That being mentioned, the idea of a Gallardo rallycross variant isn’t new, as evidenced by this video. If Sant’Agata had ever considered putting one into production, this is a potential look for a Lamborghini Gallardo Sterrato.
This “Gallardo Sterrato” has been competing in European rallycross events for several years. It’s essentially a raised Gallardo fitted with rally-grade wheels and tires. The vehicle is propelled by a V10 engine similar to the standard version, yet the exact technical specifications remain unclear.
The forthcoming Huracan Sterrato will similarly feature a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine generating 640 hp and an all-wheel drive layout.
