Koenigsegg Agera RS Seized By China Customs Didn’t Sell Out In Auction

Earlier this year, we had reported about a Koenigsegg Agera RS that was seized by Chinese customs. The hypercar was recently put up for auction and is said to have attained a bid of around $2.6 million. However, reports suggest that it failed to sell.

According to @koeniseggjesko.registry, the car is no longer in possession of customs. The car has been entrusted to a dealership, which is tasked to find a buyer. It is said that the Agera RS has been shipped to Xi’an.

This particular Agera RS is chassis no. 7178. The car has exposed carbon fibre bodywork with red highlights. Inside, the seats are wrapped in black leather with red stitching. This Agera RS even has a couple of unique touches – embroidered on the headrests is the word “ZHEN”. There is also a special graphic of the side of the car.

The Chinese customs had also confiscated a Koenigsegg Regera due to tax evasion. It is said to have been sold at auction for $3.52 million.
