We showed the Aventador’s replacement design sketches last month. The LB744, known internally as the Lamborghini Aventador successor, has now been seen on the roads once again.
The upcoming flagship car from Lamborghini closely resembles the design sketches in terms of design. It sports an angular front fascia with LED headlights and large cooling ducts at the bottom of the bumper.
On the sides, there are substantial air intakes on both sides, and the Aventador successor is likely to come with Lamborghini’s signature scissor doors.
Moving to the rear, the angular design continues with dual hexagonal exhausts positioned in the middle and Y-shaped rear lights.
Despite the resemblance to the outgoing car, we hope that the actual Aventador successor will have a distinct appearance.
Regarding the powertrain, the Aventador replacement is set to feature a mid-mounted V12 engine. The carmaker has also paired this engine with a hybrid system. In terms of power output, it is expected to surpass the Aventator, with reports suggesting that the engine itself could generate over 1050 HP and the motor alone making 850 HP. The LP780-4 Ultimae can reach 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 200 mph. Therefore, one can safely anticipate the Aventador replacement to outperform these figures.
