The Lotus Elise Cup 250 Final Edition ‘Firefly’ set off on a new adventure this morning. Robert Ellerington and Jonathan Gorman are taking the car on a 5000 miles road trip across Europe. We will be sharing the story of their journey in a separate article. But today, they need your help.
The final Elise Cup 250 has been putting on miles, ever since it left the factory on February 28, 2022. Shmee150 drove the car for the first 1000 miles, and since then, it has had its 5000 mile service.
When Rob and Jon set off on their epic Europe tour this morning, they realized that the tires had just 2 mm of tread left. Although Lotus Antwerp have offered to fit a new set, the guys are looking for Yokohama A052s, which apparently are really hard to come by in Europe.
