An innovative supercar, the Huracan Sterrato has been revealed by Lamborghini. Initially showcased at Art Basel in Miami, the car has garnered significant attention.
Effectively, the Sterrato is an elevated Huracan. Surpassing the Huracan Evo, the Sterrato’s suspension has been heightened by 43 mm. The increased ground clearance, in conjunction with all-wheel drive and an enhanced ‘Integrated Vehicle Dynamics System,’ facilitates its capacity to traverse diverse terrains.
Externally, the Huracan Sterrato is equipped with a specialized body kit encompassing fender extensions, skid plates, roof rails, a roof scoop, and a duo of auxiliary LED lights.
At its core lies the well-known 5.2-liter V10 engine generating 602 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. This power is distributed to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Alongside Strada and Sport modes, the Sterrato also features a unique ‘Rally’ mode. Lamborghini asserts the car can reach 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and has a maximum speed of 162 mph.
Lamborghini has equipped the Sterrato with broader front and rear tracks in addition to the raised suspension. The car is fitted with 19-inch wheels clad in Bridgestone’s all-terrain run-flat tires.
Production of the Huracan Sterrato is set to commence in February 2023, with only 1499 units slated for production.
