The latest 911 GT3 was brought into the spotlight by Porsche last year. Now, all attention is focused on the upcoming GT3 RS from the automaker based in Stuttgart. While you might have witnessed test models of the vehicle tearing up the Nurburgring, this particular glimpse offers a level of detail previously unseen.
This depiction of a 3D simulation of the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was shared with us by an attentive observer. Nonetheless, the origin of this rendering remains a mystery. Nevertheless, it provides a thorough viewing of all surfaces on the new performance-oriented 911.
The fresh design of the 911 GT3 RS exudes a strong resemblance to a racing machine. The RS variant has always stood out for its extreme characteristics, but this iteration pushes the boundaries even further. Notable features include NACA ducts at the front, substantial guiding vanes along the sides, and maintained extractor vents on the fenders. The standout element at the rear is the new spoiler, now engineered as a sophisticated active unit.
Insider information suggests that the new GT3 RS is anticipated to be equipped with a 4.0-liter, horizontally-opposed 6-cylinder engine generating approximately 530-550 hp. Additionally, this model will be outfitted with newly designed Pirelli Trofeo RS tires.
The forthcoming Porsche 911 GT3 RS is slated for an unveiling in the coming month.
