Czech Republic-based automaker Praga, has revealed its latest hypercar called ‘Bohema’. The new lightweight machine is said to be capable of taking on GT3 race cars.
The Praga Bohema is based on a carbon fibre monocoque, targeting a dry weight of 982 kg. The cockpit alone, is made from 56 individual carbon parts weighing just 34 kg.
The Bohema was designed in a wind tunnel to achieve optimal aero performance. The extreme aero package is said to generate 900 kg of downforce at 155 mph.
Powering the Bohema is a familiar 3.8-liter V6 twin-turbo engine from the Nissan GT-R. It produces 690 hp @ 6800 rpm and 535 lb-ft of torque at 3000-6000 rpm. The motor is paired with a Hewland sequential gearbox.
Praga is yet to announce the performance figures of the Bohema. However, we do know that the car has a top speed of 186 mph, which is claimed to be the fastest achievable speed on any racetrack.
The Praga Bohema hypercar was inspired and tested by F1 and IndyCar driver Romain Grosjean. To order one of these bespoke machines you will need to shell out €1.28 million.
