A fresh footage showcasing a sleek black Ferrari 488 Pista executing circular skids has surfaced online. Instead of the usual scenario, this time around, the vehicle was spotted right in the heart of the roads of New York City, leaving behind marks of burnt rubber.
The Ferrari 488 Pista was initially seen cruising alongside another car – a vibrant red Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. However, the driver eventually decided to unleash the car’s potential and have some fun in the midst of the urban roadways.
Subsequently, the driver took the 488 to the center of the road and proceeded to perform a couple of circular skids. As the car spun around, the driver narrowly avoided one of the curbs. Following this, the car engaged in a burnout and eventually departed in the opposite direction on Fifth Avenue.
This act exhibited a complete disregard for safety, considering the presence of numerous pedestrians and other road users. Any untoward incident could lead to severe injuries and property damage.
In the closing sequence of the video, a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder and a BMW M3 can also be seen. This could imply that the Pista was part of a convoy of high-performance cars out for a drive. Such conduct is heightened when in the company of other vehicles. This is not the first instance of witnessing someone acting recklessly with their high-performance car in the middle of the road.
