A video released by Enrico Galliera, Ferrari’s Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, has confirmed the imminent arrival of a new model. Have a guess what it could be? It’s the SF90 Versione Speciale, of course.
The SF90 VS represents a more track-oriented iteration of the SF90 Stradale. According to Enrico, “The new model takes Ferrari’s state-of-the-art technology to the next level in order to deliver outstanding performance on the track as well as on the road.”
It is anticipated that the SF90 Versione Speciale will receive an enhanced iteration of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine that powers the SF90 Stradale. In its current form, this powerplant produces 769 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The internal combustion engine is supported by two electric motors at the front and one at the rear, providing an additional 217 hp for a combined output of 986 hp.
The SF90 VS will also showcase redesigned bodywork. Evidently, all the modifications will be directed at improving the car’s on-track performance. Leaked images indicate that the SF90 VS might feature a more aggressive front bumper, splitter, and a sizable, fixed rear spoiler. It is also expected to include louvres on the front and rear fenders.
