As Lamborghini works on the successor to the Aventador, Ferrari is preparing to introduce a new convertible, the Roma Spider, in Maranello.
It is anticipated that the unveiling of the Ferrari Roma Spider will happen this year. According to a member on Ferrari Chat, the debut might occur as early as March 2023. The forum post also reveals the potential launch venue.
Ferrari is reportedly planning for a sunny launch location for the convertible Roma. If the latest information is accurate, the launch and media drives could be held in Morocco.
“I’ve mentioned this numerous times over the past few months, but it seems fchatters are not reading posts… Morocco March 2023.”
The Ferrari Roma Spider is expected to feature the same twin-turbo V8 engine as its coupe counterpart. The 3.9-liter motor produces 611 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The Spider is likely to have slightly more weight than the coupe, which will impact its performance. Ferrari claims that the coupe can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 198 mph.
