The inaugural Pagani Utopia in pre-production takes its debut on the streets

Prior to this, glimpses of the Pagani Utopia under wraps had been captured by spy shots, making the exposure of an uncamouflaged pre-production model a significant first. Varryx spotted this exquisite vehicle somewhere in Italy.

Varryx frequently sets up camp outside the Lamborghini facility to deliver some striking shots of present and upcoming models. On this occurrence, he succeeded in capturing the Utopia in all its splendor. This marked his premiere encounter with the vehicle in person.

Succeeding the Pagani Huayra, the Utopia exhibit a design that, while not excessively distinct, preserves the traditional teardrop shape of the cabin and the distinctive oval design features. Notably, it incorporates elements reminiscent of the Zonda. The vehicle showcased in the video boasts a matte brown exterior with seemingly matte carbon accents.

The heart of the Utopia is harnessed by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine engineered by Mercedes-AMG. This powerplant generates 864 hp @ 6000 rpm and 811 lb-ft of torque @ 2800-5900 rpm. The engine is adaptable to either a 7-speed automated manual transmission or a manual transmission.

For an added treat, here is a supplementary clip of Horacio Pagani navigating his cutting-edge creation.
