An aftermarket exhaust system has been created by Lingenfelter Performance for the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. This new Corsa exhaust not only enhances the car’s sound but also boosts its horsepower.
The Corsa 3.0″ Valved Cat-Back Exhaust Muffler Delete Track System can be purchased for $2499.99 from Lingenfelter and includes complimentary installation. The company stands behind the exhaust system with a lifetime warranty, while the valves are covered for 5 years.
Lingenfelter claims that with the installation of the Corsa exhaust, the Z06’s 5.5-liter V8 engine generates an extra 12 horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque compared to the original setup. This results in an overall output of 682 hp and 473 lb-ft of torque.
Due to parts shortages, the delivery of some Corvette Z06 vehicles has been delayed, leading to a wait for certain customers anticipating the installation of the Corsa exhaust on their Z06s.
