A new version of the Venom F5 hypercar has been previewed by Hennessey Performance.
Currently, there are no specifics available about the car. However, from the image, it appears to be an updated variant of the Venom F5 model. The car comes with a fixed spoiler at the rear and a roof scoop for the intake.
There were rumors in 2021 indicating that Hennessey was considering a hypercar focused on track performance. It would incorporate a high-downforce package to enhance cornering, but at the expense of top speed. In contrast to the standard car, which boasts a claimed maximum speed of over 300 mph, the top speed of the track edition will be confined by the aero package.
The track-focused Venom F5 is expected to utilize the same 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as the regular model. It delivers 1817 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft at 5000 rpm and is paired with a semi-automatic single-clutch transmission.
