These Are The Primary Images Of The Production Specs Of Bugatti Bolide

Digital renderings of what appears to be the production-spec Bugatti Bolide have leaked online. These images seem to be screenshots from the official configurator, which isn’t public yet.

The Bugatti Bolide was unveiled in October 2020 as a concept. A year later, the carmaker confirmed that it would enter production with deliveries slated for 2024. During this period, the Bolide has undergone a few changes. These are only subtle changes, and the car will remain confined to the racetrack.

The latest images reveal a much shorter horseshoe grille. The place of the vertical separator has been taken by the tow hook. The splitter element has also undergone some modifications, with additional dive planes on either side. There are four fender louvres instead two. The aero blades behind the wheels have a single element instead of the four elements seen on the concept.

The roof scoop has been carried over, but the rearview cameras have been replaced with conventional mirrors. The car gets standard racing wheels shod with Michelin rubber instead of the fancy aero wheels.

Now, coming to the rear of the car – the quad exhausts have been replaced with two oval units placed side-by-side. The design of the rear diffuser has changed a bit, and the bodywork forming the X-shape has three additional elements. Bugatti has also reworked the rear wing end plates while retaining the shark fin.

Another big change is the interior. The production-spec Bolide is likely to get a much smaller and more compact steering wheel. It also has a digital dash comprising of three separate screens.

The Bugatti Bolide uses a heavily modified version of the 8.0-liter W16 engine from the Chiron. It is said to produce 1850 hp and 1364 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG and an all-wheel drive system.

The Bolide is claimed to have a power-to-weight ratio of 0.67 kg/hp, and is capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 2.17 seconds, while its top speed will be around 328 mph.
