Supercar tracking is a popular activity in the scenic south of France where G-E Supercars recently visited Juan-Les-Pins and captured an exceptional Ferrari 812 Competizione.
Every summer, affluent individuals from around the globe gather along the Mediterranean coast with their extravagant vehicles. Supercars from the Mideast are a regular presence during this season. This year, a Ferrari from Qatar has attracted attention, not for its specifications but for its number plate.
Reportedly, the owner splashed out €10 million for the Qatari ‘123’ license plate. That’s ten times the price of the 812 Competizione. Having said that, the car’s specifications are also quite impressive.
The 812 Competizione A is equipped with a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine that generates 830 hp @ 9250 rpm and 510 lb-ft @ 7000 rpm. Although the engine is similar to the one in the Superfast, it now revs to 9500 rpm. Consequently, the car sprints to 60 mph in just 2.85 seconds, with a top speed of 211 mph.
