Ferrari has unveiled the initial glimpse of the forthcoming Roma Spider. Maranello has also validated that the open-top edition of the Roma is set to make its debut on March 16, 2023.
We’ve been informed that the launch event for the Roma Spider will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco. Journalists will have an opportunity to test drive the car shortly after.
The convertible Roma is anticipated to be equipped with a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 powertrain. In the coupe, this engine generates 611 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The Spider is expected to be marginally heavier than the coupe. However, this should not pose much of a concern as the Roma Spider is more of a grand tourer than an unequivocal performance vehicle. Ferrari asserts that the coupe accomplishes 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and boasts a top speed of 198 mph. Consequently, the Spider’s performance metrics are projected to be in the same range.
