Upcoming Reveal of Hennessey Venom 1200 Mustang GT500 Specifications at SEMA 2022

Hennessey Performance has disclosed all details regarding their latest and most powerful creation, the Venom 1200 Mustang GT500. This muscle car is expected to make its debut at the SEMA 2022 event.

The Venom 1200, an enhancement package for the already high-powered GT500 model, involves modifications to the handcrafted 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine. Initially rated at 750 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque, the engine now churns out an impressive 1188 hp @ 7600 rpm and 902 lb-ft @ 5200 rpm after the enhancements. This represents a remarkable 58% surge in performance!

Through the installation of an upgraded 3.8-liter supercharger, alongside a high-flow induction system, high-flow injectors, and an air / oil separation system, Hennessey managed to achieve these extraordinary performance figures. Further upgrades include enhancements to fittings, lines, belts, and tensioners, alongside recalibration of the dual-clutch transmission to handle the increased power output.

Only 66 units of the Venom 1200 Mustang GT500 will be manufactured by Hennessey. Each vehicle will be adorned with unique badging and a serial-numbered plaque. Owners will have the option to choose the iconic 1966 24 Hours of Daytona Ford Mark II GT40 red, white, and black livery.

The price tag for the Venom 1200 stands at $59,950, which is deemed reasonable considering the substantial performance increase. Moreover, all upgrades are covered under warranty.
