According to our previous coverage, Bugatti plans to introduce a new unique hypercar inspired by the Chiron Pur Sport on December 21. A few teasers of the car have already been unveiled by the manufacturer. However, here is the first image that has been leaked which showcases one of its defining design characteristics.
We have been informed that the new unique Bugatti will essentially be a Chiron Pur Sport without the sizable rear spoiler. As illustrated, the fixed wing has been substituted with a ducktail, which appears quite intriguing. Additionally, take note of the distinctive wheels and the dual-tone exterior theme.
Since it is based on the Pur Sport, we can anticipate the new model to be powered by the same 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine. This illustrious motor generates no fewer than 1500 hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque. The absence of a rear spoiler should aid in reducing drag, and as a result, this version of the Pur Sport might feature a higher top speed.
We are still unaware of the official name for this one-off “Touring” variant of the Chiron Pur Sport. It is scheduled to be auctioned through RM Sotheby’s on December 21 at 10 am CET.
