At the 2023 Motor Valley Fest in Modena, Italy, Maserati presented unique versions of the Levante, Ghibli, and Quattroporte Trofeo known as the ‘Zeda edition’.
The Zeda editions of the Levante, Ghibli, and Quattroporte Trofeo commemorate the brand’s twin-turbo V8 engine. These vehicles display a triple-tone color scheme with a blue front, transitioning into a metallic grey, and then into white.
The brand’s first V8 model, the 1959 Maserati 5000GT, paved the way for more than 100,000 units powered by an 8-cylinder engine. The production of the V8 Levante, Ghibli, and Quattroporte is set to conclude by late 2023 as Maserati gears up to shift into a 100% electric brand.
Maserati’s contemporary V8 lineup employs a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that delivers 572 hp @ 6750 rpm and 538 lb-ft @ 2250-5250 rpm. Not only is it a highly potent powertrain, but it also produces one of the finest V8 engine sounds.
Furthermore, Maserati is preparing to showcase the final V8-powered Quattroporte Trofeo, Ghibli 334 Ultima, and Levante V8 Ultima at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2023.
