Described by Hennessey Performance as an adaptable hypercar, the Venom F5 aims to reach speeds exceeding 300 mph while excelling in road course dynamics. Driving with precision, David Donohue showcased the car’s exceptional cornering capability by achieving a remarkable 1.59 G lateral force and -1.61 G braking performance during the historic lap.
The special Revolution variant of the Venom F5 is equipped with a high-performance downforce package, featuring a fixed rear wing, an elongated front splitter with twin canards, and a redesigned engine hood incorporating a built-in roof scoop to cool the 6.6-liter V8 powerplant.
Boasting a twin-turbo V8 engine that produces an astonishing 1817 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm, this power is efficiently transferred to the rear wheels through a cutting-edge single-clutch semi-automatic gearbox. The Venom F5 Revolution also comes with sizable 390 mm carbon ceramic brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires as standard equipment for optimum performance.
