A recently shared video by the company features CEO and Founder Mate Rimac guiding viewers through the manufacturing facility where the Nevera is being produced. The current setup, located in a repurposed shopping mall, serves as a temporary solution until the Rimac campus is fully operational. It encompasses various sections such as the paint shop, upholstery department, powertrain, and final assembly.
In the introductory segments of the video, Mate Rimac walks us through each developmental phase, starting from the design conception to the initial rolling chassis, crash test prototypes, and homologation versions, including the first US-compliant Nevera. Mate Rimac also mentions that the company is retaining the very first Nevera #000 off the production line.
The Rimac Nevera stands out as one of the swiftest electric vehicles ever crafted, boasting four electric motors generating a total output of 1914 horsepower and 1696 lb-ft of torque. The car can achieve 0-60 mph acceleration in under 2.4 seconds, with an impressive top speed of 258 mph competing with that of a Bugatti.
